Many of you out there might be amazed to know that the bowel cancer is the second most common cancer killer and also the third most common root of cancer related death in the developed country like United States of America.
The bowel cancer is common in both men as well as women but it is found that the men in general tend to get colorectal cancer at an earlier age compared to the women. But since women live longer so they catch up with men and therefore the overall cases in men and women are actually equal.
In general there may not be early signs of bowel cancer. In majority of the cases the signs of bowel cancer in men may only seem apparent once the cancer has reached a more serious stage. Signs of bowel cancer in men can include:
The sudden changes in the bowel movements can also be a sign of bowel cancer and should be investigated by your doctor. In general men ignore these kinds of symptoms since they find it very embarrassing.
The changes to bowel movements also include diarrhea or constipation or a feeling of an unfinished bowel movement, etc.
Experiencing blood in the stool is also a common sign of bowel cancer. The blood can be found in the stool in bright red colour or very dark blood.
Weight loss & constant tiredness can also be the signs of colon cancer in men.
