According to the survey reports over 16,000 deaths in UK every year is caused due to the bowel cancer. The main symptoms of bowel cancer in men are as follows:

Normally the colon cancer patients will experience pain during the bowel movements. The colon cancer may cause intestinal blockage, which happens when the intestinal contents get stuck.

The colon cancer patients may also experience weight loss which is not due to dieting or exercise. Along with weight loss, colon cancer patients may also experience a loss of appetite, sleeplessness, and continuous tiredness.

Sometimes the tumours release chemicals which increase the patients metabolism and leads to burning of more calories than the normal.

Patients generally experience the change in the bowel movements. The colon cancer may cause changed bowel habits, including diarrhea. But there are also cases where patients experience constipation or some other changes in their bowel habits such as its frequency.

The bowel cancer can also lead to abdominal pain in some cases.
